Our earliest-ever Garden Warbler was singing at the Harholt Plantation and two Mistle Thrushes were seen at the farm.

A good variety of butterflies were on the wing in the BW sector, with Brimstone, Orange-tip, Small Tortoiseshell, Peacock, Speckled Wood, Holly Blue and, best of all, three Green Hairstreaks.

Also notable was a Common Lizard.
